1I just bought a hosting plan. Now what?

The first step is to activate your account. Just go to www.ehostpk.com/clients/ and Login using “Account => Login” option to manage your account with us. You’ll be asked to enter your Registered Email ID and password. Once you’re logged in, you’ll see a list of products which you have ordered. If you are yet to place any order, then you can place an order for the shared hosting from our website and after we setup your order, we’ll send you an email with all of the account details. If you have any queries/concerns, you can always contact our 24×7 support.

2How much disk space and bandwidth will my plan include?

Disk space and bandwidth is "Unmetered" which means you are not charged according to the amount of disk space or bandwidth you typically use in the normal operation of a personal or small business website.

However, we do require all customers to be fully compliant with our Terms of Service and to not exceed 25% or more of system resources for longer than 90 seconds.

3What happens if I exceed usage?

If we have concerns about your account's bandwidth or disk space utilization, you will receive an email asking you to reduce usage.

It is rare for a customer who is managing a personal or small business website to exceed our usage policies.

Downloadable files, media, databases must comply with the following limitations:

A maximum of 10GB of a shared hosting account can be allocated to music, video or other multimedia files including but not limited to .aac, .avi, .mp3, .mp4, .mpeg, .jpg, .png, .gif files;
A maximum of 10GB of a shared hosting account can be allocated to any archive and disk image files containing the complete contents and structure of a data storage medium;
A maximum of 10GB of a shared hosting account can be allocated to databases and database dumps including but not limited to .sql files;
A maximum of 10GB of a shared hosting account can be allocated to Executable files and all other files which are the result of compiling a program.
As a part of disk usage optimization, error_log files on our Shared and Reseller servers are size-limited to 10MB per file and 1000 rows with the latest logs.

Any user whose account/server employs the higher burstable resources on a consistent basis shall agree to upgrade it to a package with higher resource availability.

7How do I transfer my Web pages to your server?

Simple, you let us know and we will do that for you. However, if you have to built your website in a WordPress, Joomla, you have to upload your website files via FTP (File Transfer Protocol). We have a built-in FTP File Manager that you can access in our Hosting Control Center. However, if your files are larger than 500 MB, we recommend using the tool FileZilla, which works with Windows®, Mac®, and Linux® operating systems, or another third-party FTP client.
